Oh those curls! Everywhere we go we get comments on this head of hair! I always hoped that our girl would inherit Frank's hair...and I got my wish! But you know how it is, we always want what we don't have, so I am sure one day she'll say she wished it were straight!

Remember how fun Twister was? We found this at a yard sale for 50c and just had to have it! The game didn't last very long before everyone was laughing hysterically and falling all over eachother! Your family needs this game-It's a classic!

Fellowship of the Saints

These are some pics from our weekly Bonfire at the McCune's. Every Sunday evening after church we get the privilege of fellowshipping and debating around the campfire with our dear brothers and sisters in Christ. The kids look forward to every Sunday night when they get to run free at the "farm" with all of their friends, catching lightning bugs and playing games. We are so blessed to have found a church home that truly feels like a community. We are constantly thanking God for the preaching of the Word, the wonderful service of the saints and the down to earth friendships and mentors we have at Providence OPC. No one and nowhere is perfect, but we feel like we've got it pretty good here:)

Biking yesterday was tons of fun! Sophia and Jude are great partners in the bike trailer, and the boys are getting better every ride. Hopefully we can take off their training wheels soon, and then we'll really get to ride the Creeper Trail! After biking we got to eat ice cream...Yummy!

Here we are, the Cardinale Clan! This pic was taken this Sunday by my sis-in-law Liz. We had such a great visit while she was here with my niece Lily. It was a really relaxing visit, with lots of lazy dinners and some fun shopping. Check out her blog here. She is so creative and is a great photographer too!

These are pics of our living room/kitchen/dining area. It is definately quaint and cozy:) but it has come a long way! We laid new floor, replaced the cabinets, added electrical for the dishwasher and oven and closed in a window. Also in this room we replaced another window with French doors. Soon we will finish with a deck/patio. Our downstair's bedroom had horrible carpet and drop ceiling which promptly was removed. Frank had to build me a new closet after that, here is a pic of our bedroom and Frank and Toby working on the new closet! We've also redone the front office room...pics on that later!

WOW! We had an article written up for us in the weekly County newspaper. I was excited about it, but did not realize the weekly around here was so widely read! We were BUSY today! Starting as early as 8 am we had calls and people in the office all day! We even received some airplane parts! We make our living by selling stuff for people on ebay, and are having so much fun doing it! Our seller name is frankie77, take a look at our stuff. It is a really great season for our family, being together ALL day long:) Not as easy as we thought it would be, but it is definately part of our sanctification, and all for HIS glory! Time to sit down with a glass of wine and some chocolate! Good night:)

Damascus, VA...It's where we live!

For those who want to know where we are living, here it is! These are the sights we get to see virtually every day! Damascus is a great little town, and we are so glad to live here! Just about every afternoon we walk into town and go to the post office, the library, the bank or the park, and often pick up an ice cream cone or cup of coffee too! Everyone is friendly, and the weather is beautiful! Our lows are in the 50s and 60s and the highs get to the 80s, but with very little humidity. It is a great place for our family and our lifestyle. The town is full of neat shops, cafes and bike shops. Come rent a bike and get on the Creeper Trail or hike up on the AT, we'd love to see you! Apparently we've got some great flyfishing in these parts too! That's Frank's next learning experience! The Highlands Festival in Abingdon is starting soon, and will be filled with 2 weeks worth of amazing events. We can't wait to visit farms, ride bikes in the kids' parade, attend plays and even take fly fishing classes! The pics I posted are of the river we get the pleasure of listening to at night across the street, the kid's on the trail, our house and the kids in the back yard. Fun!

Our trip to Tampa-BEACH TIME!

Well, since I feel like there is so much to catch up on, I'll be blogging on recent events or fun stuff from the past year when nothing too interesting has happened recently:) These are pics from our trip to Tampa. We had a blast at the beach for 2 nights in Clearwater while we were down for a visit. The kids swam the whole day and didn't want to stop swimming! Crazy Zane did jump into the salt water without closing his eyes, then ran out screaming, only to trip and fall face-first into the rocks. Not a pretty sight, but he survived with a minor flesh wound! Leave it to Zane:)

Blowing Rock...Vacation for a day!

Well, Frank and I made it out of the house for 1 day and night by ourselves! We decided to jump over to Blowing Rock, which was magnificent, and is only about an hour's drive from Damascus. We ate at a lovely restaurant for lunch, and headed over to Valle Crucis to the Mast Farm Inn. We stayed at the Loom House, it was AWESOME! It so reminded us of our honeymoon, 8 years ago! Wow....it seems like forever and only a day at the same time! We had great fun, but didn't know quite what to do with ourselves after the day was up! Being busy all the time makes you just want to sleep when you are away! So that's exactly what we did!
